Find your future with us. Boeing’s Global Data Strategy Office (GDSO) has an opening for a Senior Data Solutions Architect located in Bellevue, WA. As part of Boeing’s Corporate Information Technology & Data Analytics organization (IT&DA), the GDSO identifies and elevates high-value data opportunities to unlock the power of data and accelerate digital transformation. The Data Solutions Architect will support GDSO’s mission on business-led data governance by bringing in appropriate consensus on data topics with the Business Architecture community. In addition, the position will work with the GDSO Data Architect to employ multiple disciplines of enterprise data architecture to develop and execute strategies for data, information organization, structure and design so it can be effectively and efficiently shared across information environments and organizational boundaries. These strategies include how to organize people and processes to appropriately govern and sustain information quality, lifecycle and availability that enable business agility and ensure regulatory compliance and other business policy constraints. Position Responsibilities: Leads the design and processes analysis, information management, logical modelling, architecture, IT Data management support and/or process analysis. Assesses feasibility of architecture solutions and alternatives Performs trade-off analyses Evaluates products/services to assess suitability for integration into delivery system environments. Drafts data and information management products and service standards. Assess impact of architectural decisions to product lifecycle. Contributes to architecture and data/information management standards and strategies. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee Minimum 5 years of demonstrated hands-on experience with data architectures related to data lake, data warehouse implementations both on-prem and in Cloud, AWS, Azure and GCP Cloud architecture skills and breath of technology services expertise based in implementation experience. Technical bachelor's degree Minimum 4 years of architecture solution design experience Minimum 3 years of experience in business architecture and processes Minimum 3 years of experience developing implementation strategies, roadmaps and plans related to data solutions. Experience in Agile Methodologies Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience with alternate solution design evaluation The Open Group Architecture Framework(TOGAF) certification Proven leadership and collaboration skills Typical Education / Experience: Technical bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
