Find your future with us. Position Overview: Boeing Defense Space Security is seeking Entry Level Electronics Design Engineers to join our Space and Launch Division on our Satellite Systems Team. This team manages the company's major commercial and government satellite and ground programs for communications, national defense and other missions. Satellite Systems oversees the design, development, manufacture, integration and testing of satellites. This position is located in El Segundo, CA. Your dreams go beyond Planet Earth. Position Responsibilities: Design and development of state-of-the art electronics for space-based applications. Technical support for production and test of space-qualified electronics Ideally, academic and/or coop/intern experience should include exposure to digital and analog circuit design and theory. Exposure to power conditioning electronics, control system design and theory, and/or satellite communications systems principles is a plus. Work under supervision and mentoring by more experienced engineers in a team-oriented environment. Develops test plans, conducts pre-test analysis, monitors tests, analyzes and correlates test data, and documents results. Supports Integration and Test by assessing out of spec conditions and providing recommendations in a timely manner This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Basic relocation is available for internal candidates. This position requires the ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance post-start, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience ): Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or any technical field Electronics test methodology Experience with digital/analog power electronics Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): BS in Electrical Engineering Circuit design and analysis Electronics-oriented co-op or intern experience Experience managing/leading engineering projects. Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
