The Boeing Company is Seeking an Experienced Quality Systems Specialist located in Everett, Washington to represent BR&T (Boeing Research & Technology) Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation. In this role the primary functional engagement is with the BR&T Manufacturing Technology Integration Teams – Commercial and Defense & Space and act as the BR&T process owner for Nonconforming Material and Internal Audit as well perform as the BR&T Quality primary representative in support of BCA Production Certificate (PC700) activities inside of BR&T. Position Responsibilities: Provide Quality interpretation of requirements. Developing quality metrics and assess quality risks to ensure compliance with contractual, company and regulatory requirements. Participate in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Participate in design and product reviews to ensure that Quality System integrity, and business process management objectives are met. Engage in Lean+ events within Quality and support Lean+ events in labs, programs and other functional organizations. Working knowledge with Lean+ techniques and tools is a plus; as well as lead/participate in BR&T Internal Audit program. Conduct quality system/process reviews, act customer interface, and conduct preventive and corrective actions. Coaches employees and management on preparation for third party audits Perform analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. Analyze non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Responsible for leading Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) activities with programs, labs, functional personnel and process owners to address non-conformances and provide effective preventive/corrective action. Perform benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. Conduct appropriate research, compile and analyze performance reports and process control statistics, uses statistical methods and quality tools to continuously improve process capability. Prepare and maintains Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed. You will directly interface with customers, business partners, suppliers and regulators on various quality related topics and issues; while developing a coordinated response to customers, business partners, suppliers and regulators for management review and approval. Analyzes process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of problems. Participates with stakeholders to develop potential preventive or corrective actions. Verifies that appropriate preventive or corrective actions are implemented. Review proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements to develop quality assurance plans and tests for hardware and software products, processes and services ensuring early quality involvement in program development using established processes. This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree. 3 + years of experience leading and partnering cross-functionally. 3 + years of experience using problem-solving methodologies (i.e.: Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), Five Whys, and Fishbone Diagrams etc). Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 3+ Years of QMS experience is preferred. Previously experience as a Quality Specialist or Quality Engineer strongly encouraged. Internal Audit Certification strongly preferred. Willing to travel to all BR&T locations to support BR&T Quality Management Systems deployment and project/program activities. Works under minimal direction. Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
