Boeing Defense, Space & Security’s (BDS) Patriot Advanced Capability (PAC-3) program is an air-defense, missile system designed to counter tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and advanced aircraft where Boeing is the original engineering manufacturer of the seeker. Boeing’s seekers provide active data to the PAC-3 missile which enables it to acquire, intercept and destroy threats using hit-to-kill technology. The PAC-3 Seeker team is a cross functional, highly skilled, motivated group embracing the beliefs that focused safety, execution, LEAN manufacturing and business practices will secure our future and well-being, driving our product to be the seeker of choice for the PAC-3 program and future generations of weapon systems. The PAC-3 program is looking for a Entry level Systems Engineer. This position is located at the Boeing Jetplex facility in Huntsville, Alabama. Position Responsibilities: Development and documentation of Patriot Advanced Capability (PAC-3) requirements Development of program trade studies and trade process implementation    Execution of verification of requirements and Functional Configuration Audit planning Integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces Development of risk mitigation plans and opportunity capture plans Supporting assessment and collaborative resolution of complex cross-functional technical issues amongst multiple diverse stakeholders Driving results through the development, implementation and maintenance of rigorous processes, tools, schedules and metrics Maintaining current data and providing status on technical and schedule performance issues Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense. This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Minimum technical bachelor's degree Experience in Systems Engineering processes and procedures Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience/domain knowledge of requirements, verification, and validation  is preferred Experience with complex systems development and integration preferred Experience with implementation and maintenance of systems engineering tools, schedules and metrics Typical Education / Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
