Boeing Global Services is currently seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to become part of the AMC Agile Development (ADEV) team in O’Fallon, IL.  ADEV is responsible for development of software for the Dynamic Mission Replanning (DMR) suite of applications, which quickly re-plans missions already in execution, as well as the next generation of strategic planning software available in the Consolidated Air Mobility Mission Planning System Inc 1 (CAMPS Inc 1) software.

Position Responsibilities:

With general supervision, develops, documents, maintains and unit tests code by utilizing software development environments and programming languages in order to implement design and satisfy allocated requirements.

Develops, documents, and maintains designs for software consistent with the defined architecture and requirements/regulations by applying established methods and practices.

Performs troubleshooting of defects. Proposes solutions to problems.

Supports development, documentation and maintenance of software architectures.

Support software requirements development by performing analyses, preparing flow and logic diagrams and performing trade studies. May support interface definition and allocation of requirements between hardware, software, and operators. May participate in requirements reviews.

Select, tailor and deploy processes and tools; may establish metrics.

Perform evaluations, contribute to proposals, assess benefits of available technologies and perform trade studies.

Troubleshooting of operational and integration issues. May maintain and analyze performance data and advise experienced engineers of potential issues.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Security Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

Required Education, Skills and Experience

Currently possess a Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

Some experience developing software in Enterprise Java (Java EE)

Preferred Skills / Qualifications

Some experience in Object Oriented Design and Programming


This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.


Travel is not anticipated
