The Boeing Company Test & Evaluation Engineer (Software Engineer) in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania

The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Entry Level Software Engineer to work at the Rotorcraft Flight Simulation Lab in Ridley Park, Pa. We’re seeking a highly talented, motivated, and creative software developer to engineer new solutions and support existing capabilities. Primary Responsibilities: Supporting software development tasks including detailed software design, coding, and unit/integration testing of customer desired applications Develop and sustain new and existing applications; as well as troubleshoot and resolve various software issues. Basic Qualifications: B.S. (Computer Science, Engineering or Physics).  (2) years’ experience in Scientific Programming/Computer Architectures , C,C++ , Python Programming Languages , UNIX/LINUX/Windows Operating Systems , TCP/UDP/IP Networking Programming This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. Desired Qualifications Experience in Software Engineering Life Cycle (Requirements Analysis, S/W Development, Testing) , LEAN , AGILE , Rotorcraft Flight Simulation , SIMULINK Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Relocation is not available.
