The Boeing Company is looking for a highly motivated experienced IT Computing Architect that will be responsible for designing, implementing and sustaining the Technical Environment that supports Boeing’s 2CHR Human Capital Management (HCM) systems for the Boeing Enterprise.  In this position you will work with other architects across Boeing to design, implement and support the development and delivery platforms utilized by the Workday, ServiceNow and Boeing applications that provide Boeing’s HCM systems. The Computing Technology Architect provides leadership and consultation on the technical and environmental requirements needed by the applications and development team. You will be responsible for the environment design and support processes that meet the requirements, in alignment with Boeing architecture and development standards. The Technical Architect documents the environment requirements and the transitional roadmap, analyzes impacts of new requirements, designs support processes and provides controls to ensure adherence to computing security and compliance. Job Responsibilities: Creates and maintains a detailed view of existing architecture Analyzes impacts regarding new requirements or new solution options, and identifies opportunities to streamline the solution Creates and maintains the transitional roadmap Evaluates internal and external cloud platforms in the overall design Aligns ServiceNow platform capabilities to business strategy and ServiceNow roadmap Leads the Environment Team in implementation of technical best practices, policies and procedures Provides architectural controls Contributes to governance processes Ensures the Environments stay current with Workday and ServiceNow products and applicable integrated technologies Ability to assist with assessments of the impact of architectural decisions to product lifecycle Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Please apply as soon as possible for this role as recruitment may commence before the end date Basic Qualifications: Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status 3+ years’ experience creating system architectures/design Knowledge regarding standard architecture methodologies such as TOGAF or Zachman Experience with the Agile Software development lifecycle 3+ years’ experience with SaaS architectures and with cloud based development 3+ years’ experience  working with COTS Integration in a Linux or Windows environment Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience building or re-engineering systems Experience with complex / large-scale integrated architecture principles Security and Compliance requirements Enterprise and/or IT Service Management Experience with the ServiceNow Product and Delivery Platform Experience with the Workday Product and Delivery Platform ServiceNow System Administration ServiceNow Application Development Experience with database design schemas and data modeling Strong requirements-gathering experience Experience with middleware and discovery technologies Scripting (i.e. JavaScript; Web Services; HTML; CSS; Jelly) Automation processes and techniques Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.)
