Spectrolab, A Boeing Company is a world leader in the manufacturing and testing fully-integrated solar panels for commercial, civil and defense missions. Spectrolab is seeking a full-time SAP ABAP Developer to develop custom solutions and/or enhancing existing custom solutions. In this role you will document requirements, develop, deploy and support code to meet business requirements.    This position will support the end to end development process from requirement gathering, solution design and architecture, technical spec documentation, issue analysis and trouble shooting. Your responsibilities will include: Day to day SAP production support and trouble-shooting of transaction errors Lead new solution requests by working closely with the business to understand requirements Lead cross functional teams comprising of business SMEs on new requests to understand current processes and proposing solutions to develop new solutions Design and develop solution, unit test and document solutions Document the technical spec and training materials While having no direct supervisory responsibilities, the ABAP Programmer Analyst has strong leadership skills to effectively participate in and facilitate work groups, consisting of various combinations of business users, developers and Business Analysts through project and development activity Lead the long term planning and deployment of SAP S4HANA Ability to define and implement process improvements and/or best practices Comfortable to research, evaluate and recommend different solution path for business requirements and implement new ideas with ease Strong interpersonal and team building skills - ability to work with a diverse team and impart change across functional and business boundaries Capable of handling multiple projects Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements: This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Required Qualifications: Must have 5+ years of SAP ABAP experience with strong analytical and communication skills Prior experience with ERP Software and troubleshooting Troubleshooting skills to review and analyze existing programs for performance improvements and bug fixing Strong debugging and problem-solving skills- provide direction to others in identifying root causes and developing appropriate solutions Preferred Qualifications: Perform analysis, troubleshooting, and developing effective solutions to business requirements, receiving input from the SAP Business Analysts and Business Users Includes collaboration with other ABAP, BASIS, BW and other developers ABAP development experience in modules SD, MM, PP, WM, FICO and APO Experience in BAPI, IDOC/ALE, ALV, SAP Script, Smart Forms, RFC, ABAP objects, Webdynpro, Enhancements, Workflow, reports, interfaces, conversion, LSMW and dialog programs Multiple SAP full life-cycle implementations experience ABAP development experience in modules SD, MM, PP, WM, FICO and APO Experience with S/4 and C/4 is highly desirable Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.) Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
