The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Program Protection analyst develop, implement, and administer a Program Protection (P2) Engineering Security program for a large, highly-complex group of programs located in the Puget Sound. Position Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with all government and company regulations/requirements. Work Lead a Program Protection program to protect government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures. Develops the strategy for program protection and continuously monitors and modifies the program to address a changing external environment. Interfaces with design engineers, analysts, test, suppliers, and operations teams Identifies Program Protection deficiencies. Develops and implements corrective action. Provides innovation and creativity into the counter-intelligence program, security awareness training and education program (briefings, bulletins and visual reminders) to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information. Initiates and completes Program Protection tasks toward long-range goals and objectives. Oversees Sub-Contractor P2 Management (e.g., providing P2 oversight and direction with site visits and reviews) to ensure compliance with all government regulations/requirements. Collaborates with program and government customers to ensure all P2 initiatives are effectively implemented. Reviews documents, drawings, and procedures for P2 policy compliance. Present briefings and training to Boeing and other team members Understanding of CPIs, Threats, and Vulnerabilities Responsible for Program Protection plans that are approved by Customer security that lay out the approach to protect classified information throughout the execution of a program This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Basic relocation is available for internal candidates. This is a union represented position. This position requires an active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Minimum technical Bachelor's degree DoD Top Secret security clearance required Experience with system security engineering, or systems engineering, project analysis or other technical or security related functions Technical security background that can work independently across all disciplines of the program Familiarity with SCG (Security Classification Guides), OPSEC (Operations Security), SSP (System Security Plan), and P2P (Program Protection Plan) Work locations will include sites that are 10 miles of Tukwila, Washington Strong interpersonal, written and oral presentation skills Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Spacecraft engineering experience, launch experience and a technical security background that can work independently across all disciplines of the program Cybersecurity experience. Out of the box thinking to come up with an acceptable P2 approach to meet program needs and the intent of the regulations with mitigations and acceptable risks. Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance desired Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
